Gahhhh----one of those "Lighten Up, already" days, I guess. I can't even lighten my body mass, never mind my sense of being.

And where does a bad mood start? Do they hide under rocks with creepy crawly things, then sneak up behind you and nip you on the ankle? How can it spread so quickly to the heart, faster than a snake bite?

I suppose I am just antisocial. I say how lonely I am and then I come here and post nasty notes to to TofuEmmy, like, the person in the world least likely to hurt anyone else, she eats tofu for goodness' sakes.

Mutter, mutter, mutter, never mind me. I just want a cocktail and forget about it. Like THAT's going to happen - NOT.

I am not such a nice person...really. I am quite a bitch often enough. Ask GG... :-/

I hide it behind niceties as much possible. Behind this tofu mushy exterior, beats the heart of a cranky wench.

If it's any help, I rarely find April fools type, or practical joke type, humor funny.

On the other hand, my hand went numb again today from laughing while watching "The Nanny". Second day in a row. Gotta love that show.

Ever see "The Associates"? An extremely short lived show way before its time.

There's one scene where an associate at a law firm comes in wearing the previous night's evening gown, and the senior partner explains to her the chain of command, tells her how very pretty she looks, and then chews her (male) boss out for coming to work looking like a floozy.

I always laugh so hard that it's just as well it's my hand muscles that go weak when I laugh. :))

Let's hear it for the Cranky Wenches Club - Yahoo! » TofuEmmy

I haven't seen that one, but there are some TV shows that can make me laugh out loud.

anything British (I loved Absolutely Fabulous and anything by French and Saunders)
Comedy Central's The Daily Show
and, a Canadian specialty, Hinterland's Who's Who (The cheesiest nature series, very short, ever filmed. An entire generation grew up knowing how to imitate a loon.)

I think that's the point of April Foool's Day...

"Adult" people have permission to act like children for a day! Isn't it nice???!!!

I couldn't think of any jokes, though, and was a bit miffed at myself...

Maybe I'll do it on Midsummer's Eve, instead...
