Look at blank red wall- in the left very bottom corner, click- you will see the foot of the bed and...

Once you get the battery- pay very close attention to what happens....

The page has a URL on it- go to it

I am so confused by this game. I didn't get the door open but I did go to that site and found other harder games.
So I got everything but the door open.
Oh well.

anyone else trying the Veridian Room?
I've collected
a warm can of beer,
a bundle of incense,
a cheap lighter that works,
an empty picture frame,
a photo of a female,
a photo of a male,
a pill bottle with two pills and a sheet of Chinese writing on it, but cannot seem to remove these items from the bottle,
a skeleton under the rug, but this doesn't seem to move.
five cards with Chinese characters on them,
a piece of paper with black hair on it,
and there seem to be three "items" missing from the items list (in terms of spaces left, anyway).
One is obviously a key to a diary on the shelves, but I cannot find it.

I can move the can of beer to the shelf and light some incense there, I can put the two photos in the frame one at a time, but have no idea which would be "right". I can open a door which leads to darkness, but cannot take the lighter in there with me...

anybody else trying and got ideas??

Did you open the pil bottle yet?

Did you pull the blanket off the dead guy? Look in the blanket.

When you are looking around the room, click on the light and check up there- and from all angles....

> *** yeah, but I can't seem to do anything "interactive" with the contents.. I tried putting the other symbols into the empty corner places, but no go... I tried to seperate the contents from the bottle, but no go.
> Did you pull the blanket off the dead guy? Look in the blanket.
> *** I just found the lighter.. couldn't do anything with the blanket except lift and lower it.. I tried to click on the shadowy places of the blaket, but no go...
> When you are looking around the room, click on the light and check up there- and from all angles....
***I KNEW there was something up there, but I can't find it- I swear I've clicked everywhere... I even tried pulling the light string over and over, hoping something would "drop" like from the Crimson Room's drapes... but no go...

any broader hints????

you have to go right to it, no going around a second time 'cause you missed it the first time...

Also, there may be a different number now- it changes...
