Good to be home

Posted by partlycloudy on December 19, 2004, at 13:02:37

Visited my sister and survived.
Met with Racer and spent a lovely morning talking and walking. I got to meet another kindred spirit face to face. What a gift.
Went to Seatlle for the first time. I'm enchanted by it. My daughter in law is so proud of her new city.
I return to work tomorrow to face my latest challenge. I think I'll be OK. I actually feel peaceful and recharged at the same time. I can't remember when I was last this content during the holiday season.

I am sending healing and loving thoughts to Sabrina and Dinah.

It's good to have you home, and I'm glad your trip was relaxing rather than stressful. It's good to face those new challenges recharged.

I appreciate all the healing and loving thoughts.

You were missed, but I am glad you had a good trip. Good luck tomorrow, sounds like you can handle it though.

Glad you're home, except...

Except that it was so good to meet you, and I wish we'd had more time! You were such a joy, and I'm so glad we got the chance to meet!

By the way, I forgot to ask -- were those rolls like popovers? I've never had anything like that before, and if they are, guess I gotta learn to make popovers...

Thank you for the warm smile I have remembering the lovely morning we spent together.

I would have called them Yorkshire Puddings, but I have never met a popover officially. They could be the same thing.
I am so very glad to have met you, Racer. I count myself so very lucky to have found friends like you here.

It's so nice that babblers are as nice as they seem! Thanks for sharing the visit.
It was a day brightener, even though I wasn't there.

Glad you had a good time and that you are feeling well.

Here's hoping that good feelings last at least the rest of the year, eh?
