Gabbi...thanks for the shhhh. Now would you mind gently stroking my face while Alesta, with her lovely singing voice, croons my favorite show tunes. Phil will be playing the drums, which always has a calming influence on me (ya know... something 4/4, funky, with a good back beat that we can all dance to) and KK apparently I don't know where to find you.(and neither does the private investigator I hired....I gues I'm just not the stalker I once was)...so would you please find me!! Seriously thanks ya'll cause I seriously need it.

Going from being married, living in a house, to then being unmarried, and living in an apartment really stinks. Besides the obvious heartache involved, and getting used to the cold half of the bed thing (...owie, that hurts), there's the practical crudsky too. Like buying all that stupid stuff again - who wants to shop for a toaster and a wrench?? All I brought with me was the spices.
What have a I learned? Umm....
Try not to drink too much.

You sound like the voice of experience. A friend of mine got so tired of looking at the stark bare walls in my apartment, she brought me a couple of really nice framed prints....Mustering up just enough motivation to finally hang them it was then I realized, I actually have a hammer, but alas no nails. Almost every day I go to the store to get something out of necessity. Like when I cut the crap out of my finger trying to open a can of tuna without a can opener (That's BS that Ginsu knives can cut through anything) and then could only wrap it in toilet paper (yes TP was one of my first purchases) Of course the next day I bought both bandaids and a can opener. The first month I drank a tad more than I shoulda (and that would probably be a gross understatement) but I found diminishing returns in that endeavor, so I backed off a bit. The sense of loss, very much like a death was overwhelming.....not really missing my spouse (I affectionately call her the Devil's spawn) but for my kids,dogs and a GREAT house that I had lived in for 7 years and was PERFECT!!!
Thanks for the tips...but I still enjoy running around my apartment naked. The neighbors have chipped in to buy me some window blinds.Peace Out

I wasn't sure you were the guy I see naked in that apartment across the way...I think the feather boa that threw me off.
However unless you are touring in a troupe doing show tunes I suggest you lose the boa or at least add some matching hose.
All in all tho, a man who loves his kids and the homelife...whew, impressive.
