O, I'm so glad! I am such an '80s child. But honestly, this album is incredible. Every track.

Woman in chains. I love it!

I am a huge 80's fan. (And I was a teenager then)

But my favourite, favourite, favourite, and I shouldn't get going ............. Sarah - beautiful angel, Sarah Brightman.

I love that song. Heck, I love all the songs on that album. It seems to be the perfect, ultimate ending for the '80s. I went from age 10 to Age 20 in the '80s. Good times...

For peaceful, calming, pure listening enjoyment I go for December, by George Winston. It's entirely solo pianist material; great with a bubble bath on a winter's evening.....

For vocal bliss, I like Alison Kraus, album Forget About It...

I used to be a singer.... about twenty cartons of cigarettes and adult allergies ago...

(Sorry, Dr. Bob, I can't seem to get underlining to work here...)

It is NOT shallow to like Talking Heads.
They are one of my favorite bands of all time
and musical geniuses. Very intelligent creative beautiful music and fun too.
Id marry David Byrne

my music. I have no faith that anybody else likes what I like or finds it interesting. I guess that's really insecure. But it's not about me, it's about Talking Heads!

I wore my "Stop Making Sense" pin, the one I received with my movie ticket, on my black trench coat everyday of my sophomore year. I was such a badass....

Youre welcome. I am sure that you probably like lots of the same music i liked from the 80s. And there are other closet 80s junkies out there.
Trust me. :)

Thanks, Dr. Bob, usually my work computer just has a text type drop down on my "intranet" connection, but doesn't in this window within a window....

I didn't realize about the double double quotes.

I'll use them!

I have a double CD "Relax! The Ultimate 80's Mix" and wanted to share a few of my favourites on that CD.

Tears for Fears (again)- SHOUT
Howard Jones - What is Love
Nik Kershaw - Wouldn't it be good (love that one)
Human League - Human
Level 42 - Lessons in love
ABC - Poison Arrow
King - Love and Pride
Thompson Twins - Hold me now (another good one)
Talk Talk - Such a Shame
Yazoo - Don't go
Ultravox - Dancing with tears in my eyes
Soft Cell - Tainted Love (good! liked Marilyn Manson's version too, but like him? I don't think so)
A-Ha - Take on me

Count me in! I'm an eighties junkie, too. Always loved Howard Jones. The B-52's. First concert was Survivor and REO Speedwagon. Or was it Joan Jett and Loverboy? (sigh, such innocent times)

Wow, I would cry and cry and cry to this song as a teenager.

I adore it!

Good G*d, I made a mixed tape of that same list (tho not in that order!) in the late eighties!

And don't forget "Pulling mussels from a shell", oh, gosh, and Suzanne Vega's "The Queen and the Soldier", I think it was called- that whole album, in fact, whatever the name was! And Queen, the band...

Don't laugh- I just ordered Suzanne Vega, Meatloaf, Alison Kraus, The Go-Go's, et cetera from BMGMusic club last month... 'Course I haven't actually RECEIVED them yet... aaarrrgghh.
