wanted to wish y'all a quick goodbye. this site is taking its toll on me. goodbye boomarang, PC, irene/"iris", Fi, saw, and others that i really wish i'd gotten to know better. you have my babbemail if you ever just want to say hi.

yes. i've given it some more thought, and received some helpful counsel on the matter. i don't need to run from everything. i'm just gonna take a little time..i'll be back soon (here, not admin ever, ever, ever again). a sensitive, delicate flower like myself has no business going over there....:-) kidding.

I gave up admin maybe 6 months ago. But I didn't give up the rest of Babble. It has been working very nicely for me.
Friendly advice - sometimes admin issues spill onto the other boards, I don't read those threads either.
Take what is helpful, leave what is hurtful.

That sounds a good laidback approach to it all. Doing what suits you? I have found it easier than I expected to stop looking at PBA.
So if/when you want to come back here, it can be an altogether more straightforward, supportive and sometimes funny experience.
I took a break for months when I didnt have easy web access. It was fine coming back, tho its taken a little time to get to know the new people. But no problem.
