Another anecdote from my son

Posted by saw on October 25, 2004, at 1:34:56

I asked him to fetch me my sandals. So off he hopped, skipped and jumped. 10 minutes later I called him and asked where my sandals were and what was taking him so long. He said sorry mom but I looked everywhere and I can't find them. It was at that point that I noticed he was wearing them!

hey pc! top of the mornin to ya, kid! good to see ya! gotta keep an eye on them sunglasses. i'm browsing the ads in the washington post right now online. just sent in a few resumes..oh god. <gulp> what if they call, dude? i have no benzos for anxiety..sh#$..anyways, never mind that..so i have to *try* and keep my a## off the internet during the day (after 8 ET) in order to keep the phone line open in case they decide to call.

and what's your excuse for being up so early? you don't live in africa also, do you?

amy :)

that you could find them at the very, very bottom of my son's toy box. Rest assured they will have finger prints on, and the frames will be chewed. And then he'll blame his step sister, or the teddy bear, or the fish in the fish tank. But not before he has said that he has NEVER seen those sunglasses in his life!

No, I just go to sleep way early and I'm up early, too. It's too dark outside to play, so here I am. (I'm in Florida.)
Good luck on your job search.

y'all, due to a couple comments/questions i received via email, i wanted to clarify why i wrote the above. someone had previously taken offense to my off-topic discussion within their thread, and i wanted to make sure i wasn't offending again. i do not mind at all if anyone wants to converse within any of my threads or "interrupt" or whatever. i think that is part of what makes these boards fun (and more conversational). in fact, i welcome the spontaneous banter. some of my best conversations have been off-topic interruptions into others' threads.:)

I am no good at interrupting anything or debating, I am just trying to get along.
if you see an argument with MY name in it?? Well, that's a Big Mistake and you can Just Ignore It Altogether-like.
i can't make no argument
i can't make no claim
i can't be peaceful
Until I know that my sins have been put to rest.

pc, you're so sweet.:) it's obvious you have a good heart. life is certainly picking up its stress level. i know i get depressed when stressed, so i've got to quit this attempt at instilling peace. i'll just stick with this board with good ole pc.:) shoot. i am starting to get depressed. darn. thanks for the hug.:)
