Mystic, I think it was just a quiet weekend . . . people will be back now.

I am still doing ok on the prozac; even slept the last two nights without ambien. But now I am having some w/d from stopping the ambien (arghh!)

Older daughter and grandson (3yr old) were here for the weekend. Last time we saw each other was difficult; resolving issues between us. This time the issues had already been resolved, so it was a very pleasant, healing time for us.

Hang in there, mystic . . . the yo-yo's tend to be yo-yo's, dear, but we are still SISTAS!

I hope you all had a great weekend!

What am I chopped liver? I post once in awhile, too. I don't always have anything interesting to share. Unless you want to hear about my halloween costumes...marge simpson, and a mermaid with a sixpack..I have quite a gut to be a mermaid, so I am going to carry a sixpak. Then I am a mermaid with a sixpack...the good kind. Husband is being homer(he has a gut, too) and a fisherman. Mind you I am making them myself. I have the marge dress pinned, but have to use the neighbors sewing machine, and the mermaid, I have the material, shiny metallic light green, dark green, gold, and shiny green net, and I got metallic ribbons to hang in my hair, as for the marge hair, I put a beer bottle on top of my head and pull my hair up over it and put a ponytail holder to make it stand straight up...it also comes in handy as a stupid bar trick at the end of the night when everyone is drunk...I did it a couple weeks ago, i went into the bathroom(mind you i was at the bar alone... friends went home and I was meeting people...) and did it...I mosied right on out and made a bunch of friends because they loved my circus freak hair...a good many contributed I looked hot...

Great story i loved it...we always want to hear anything anyone has to say ...it certainly doesnt have to be just the bad or when we are not feeling well ....just to share to talk is great..thanks for the story ...Halloween just happens to be my very very very favorite holiday in the year...I loved your idea for the costume..I sometimes dress up to give out candy and to walk around the neighborhood with my niece and nephew pretty soon a couple of years with Ryan he turned 5 months old on friday...he is going to be tiger from winnie the pooh..hahha..so cute...we have at least 300 kids that come to our house...people come from all over and drop them off at the top of our street and they just walk all around ..we have a very safe nieghborhood and people like there kids to be in one place..but have to start buying candy already as it gets exspensive...Well I"m off to go to bed..hope you all are doing great and it was great to hear from you anankin take care..Your friend heidi

God I wish we got trick or treaters here. The past two years we had NONE. I dont know why....Maybe parents dont let their kids anymore...who knows, but isnt that a shame? I remember in 1981 when my parents had to check through my candy before I could have it.

Oh yes anakin I'm not that old to not be the one that also had her candy looked at the big thing when I was a child was that we never ate the apples that someone gave to us we always threw them away because we were afraid that someone would put a razor blade in it..now it is just as bad with drugs and everythign else..that is why I think people bring their kids to our neighborhood because it is a great neighborhood and they assume that it is safe...but there really isnt anyplace safe and that is sad...but I just love love love to see the kids all dressed up and all excited..they are sooo cute..we get mostly little bitty kids from 5-6:30 then the older ones but I never ever turn anyone away they are not that young for too long and there are some older kids in there for sure but as long as they are polite then be young as long as you can...hahahah...so tell me about the halloween party you are going to sounds like fun..Your friend Mystic

Just checking in again . . . I don't want to feel the "wrath of mystic" again (LOL). Just teasing, sweetie . . . you know I love you.

It has been a strange day for me . . . feeling kind of fuzzy from the prozac, but not as bad as I did on the lex.

I went to see a client today, and when I got there I found out she is living in her car. Her car is stuffed full of all her belongings, and she even has her cat in a cage in the car. I wanted to cry, but you know what she said? She told me how blessed she feels that God has been taking care of her needs and she really meant it. She is getting meals on wheels, and now she eats them in her car and feels BLESSED!! It was so humbling to think of how selfish I am and how I stress over such petty things in my life. I hope we can help her.

Hey girlfriend....yup you dont want me to get on everyone again!!!!..and it is sooo nice to get up in the morning and find out how you are doing with out haveing to get on you and be mean..hahah...

The woman in the car that is very very very sad...It is strange how they find the best out of things that to us are so sad and are ...That still doesnt take away from the way that we feel if anything it helps us think but to be depressed is very hard and it takes a strong person to try and try their best to get the help that they need and to keep trying so that is so true in many situations...Please try not to think down on yourself for feeling bad because you have to deal with depression/anxiety and others have their problems...You should just think of yourself as special as being able to get past what you are feeling to reach out and help these special people...so no negative my friend just postitive thinking out of these situations ok ..ok ..ok thank you hahaha

Well I'm off to work...I will check in later and Jlynne have a great day and dont forget another day will be over on the meds soon and you will be that much closer to feeling better all the time just try to ride the storm...and you know it takes at least 6 weeks to get the optomal and hopefully best results and to think they are going to come any sooner is a little optomistic the important thing is you are that much closer....and the same to lexy on that one..Proud of both of you girls for going on to find something after Lexapro..take care talk to you soon Luvya alll...Mystic

Hey Jlynne,
I know how you feel. A lot of the kids I work with eah day have been dropped off in parking lots by their parents. They are seperated from their brothers and sisters. However, their strenght to go on is amazing. Sometimes I just come home and cry over what these parents do to their precious children. I know I am so blessed in my life and need to search within myself to find strenght as these children do.
((strenght)) (((self peace)))

Love all my yo yo friends,

Yes, lexy, it is a tough business to be in, isn't it? But the rewards are great, too, eh? If your job is anything like mine (and I bet it is) you get lots of hugs, too.

Your hugs come from children, and mine come from the elderly - - both groups are GREAT huggers!!

Come to think of it - - YO-YO's are GREAT HUGGERS, TOO!!

Hello yo-yo's,

It's so good to hear the board come back to life again. I hope it continues because we all need each others support to get through our bad days and laugh on our good days.

Happy fall days to everyone. I love the fall, it makes me feel so warm and cozy. I don't know how many of you guys get a chance to experience a New England Fall, but it is wonderful.

I hope everyone is doing well on their meds today, I know we had a couple of changes with Lexy and Jlynne so I just want to let you know that you girls are in my prayers and I hope your meds kick in really fast.

Hey does anyone know where Simus has been? What about lynneda, mag and the rest of the missing yo-yo's.

Everyone say a prayer for Mrs. C she is sick with bronchitis and a sinus infection. Please get well soon Mrs. C we all miss you. Hope you had a great birthday weekend with your family.

Love ya all,
anxious babe

Mystic, Mystic, Mystic,

You are the angel on earth I have always been waiting to meet. You are the most realistic person that I have ever come across and I am so thankful that our paths have crossed.

You are such a positive role model in my life everyday and I just wanted to let you and everyone else know how much you mean to me.

You are a wonderful friend.

A-B, thank you for letting us know about Mrs. C. ((((Mrs. C)))

As for fall days in New England, I have heard that they are breathtaking, but I have never been around in the fall back there. We have a lot of evergreens here, so the colors are not as spectacular as they must be where you are.

Simus said good-bye to us awhile back, but I am hoping she will start missing us soon. (((Simus)))

Lynneda posted yesterday in social - maybe she will drop by and say hi:~)

I haven't seen mag in here forever . . . Mag, if you still read our posts, I hope you are doing well. You are the sweetest of the sweets, love.
