I'm in.
1) My T. He may be a bit shell-shocked, but he's still non-judgemental and still there.
2) Running into a girlfriend at Starbuck's right after my session. I miss her.
3) My husband. He's still there, loves me, and offered a good therapeutic hug anytime I want one.
4) My new light therapy lamp. Cool! Keeping fingers crossed it helps.
5) Having fun in the garden again.
6) The mouse or chipmunk who has the moxie to move into my pot of chives. Just don't let me actually see you!
7) Having too many books to read...I'm with ya there, PC!
8) Subscription to local company's new season of Shakespeare
9) Going to a Jungian workshop this weekend with a friend.
10) Babble buddies who care and who get it!Hey, that wasn't so hard. Maybe the lamp is working?

1. having dinner the past three nights with my former boyfriend.
1 a. finding time for dinner with him.
1 b. the conversation has always been very pleasant
1 c. we've been eating at nice places we've always wanted to try but somehow never made time for in the past.
1 d. trying martini's all over town (909 grill has the best!!!)
1 e. he's buying, even when i offer to!
1 f. making time for eachother even when we're both busy. i know we'll make wonderful friends.
2. coffee with a former prof yesterday. he told me i make a wonderful first impression, gave me hints for finding a job, told me i need more sleep, and offered (without my asking) a letter of recommendation. he wants to meet again for coffee. and he's doing well too.3. i have wonderful friends coming tomorrow to help me pack and move. i need to get a martini shaker so we can celelbrate. my former boyfriend asked why they were staying at my new place instead of here. (god, is it normal to have these second thoghts????)
4. i'm feeling better since taking antibiotics. and since getting lab results back. i'm really not dying :)
5. today is nail day!!!! broke one at work last night and didn't get upset.
6. found out from a friend i can get my back windshield fixed for $150. can't beat that!
7. gabbi's back.
8. i'm beautiful. and my former boyfriend told me last night that i've been looking really good lately too.
9. i'm making progress on packing.
10. school doesn't seem overwhelming anymore. in fact, now that german is solved, the rest of the classes are fun... yahoo!!!!!

1) got through this week (the worst I have had for a long time) and I am starting to feel a bit better :-)
2) not feeling (too) guilty for all the time I have had off...
3) getting back into my work and rediscovering just how much I can enjoy it

1. Felt a little better today (until my new pain med wore off in the early evening)
2. Didn't cry at all in therapy today
3. Ice cream
4. My friend didn't think I had diarrhea of the fingers, she thought all of my words (and words and words) were helpful
5. Picked up sticks in my yard with my dogs - maybe I will get it mowed once this year before the leaves fall!
6. Took the dogs for a walk and did yoga this morning
7. Vacuumed my family room and finished cleaning everything except the mantle.
8. Put all my psych books in bookcases in my room (they were previously stored on my floor and headboard in piles). I love books
9. Got enough courage to tell my daughter that we have to talk about the way we fight, or she'll have to go back to see her therapist.
10. Actually wanted to do a 10 - this is my very first one.

Way to go falls! And a very nice 10 it is, I might add :).
My favorite is probably #6 because it's really two things in one - and I love a deal ;).

1. My son has taken to calling me Pumpkin. Like when I wake him up in the morning he says, "good morning, Pumpkin". He learned it from his favorite teacher at daycare :).
2. My husband will be home tomorrow after a week long business trip.
3. I have a new niece and I will meet her this weekend!
4. I saw my new pdoc yesterday and she seems much nicer than my old pdoc. (She added Wellbutrin to the Lexapro I'm already taking. Cross your fingers for me, please.)
5. I don't know if I told all of you, but my T keeps the box I gave him for my one-year therapy anniversary in a prominent place in his new office. I like that. He still hasn't told me what he keeps in it, though. Darn him.
6. I've been at my new job for a month and a half and when my contract expires at the end of October, my boss wants me to take a permanent position. I actually like it there and I like what I'm doing, so I think I'll take him up on the offer :).
7. N asked for "pupcakes" this evening so I made them. White cake with chocolate-chocolate chip frosting. Yummy!
8. This interesting quiz...http://selectsmart.com/PHILOSOPHY/. I matched most closely with Jean-Paul Sartre.
9. It was still warm enough to go swimming on Tuesday.
10. Getting to wear jeans at work on Fridays. (Sometimes it's the simple things.)

A dear friend let me borrow one last winter and it really worked well for me. It's actually time to start using it, I think, so thanks for bringing up the subject. I better ask my friend if she wants it back first, though. :)

Susan, I mainly dance flamenco (NOT flamingo!). I absolutely love it. THough I have no Spanish blood whatsoever (all Scottish and Irish and English), flamenco speaks to my soul.
