Fairly good news about my dad's health

Posted by Dinah on August 12, 2004, at 21:50:25

Actually about as good news as possible given his poor overall health and many specific problems. The surgeon doesn't want to do surgery because he thinks it will worsen his overall quality of life. But the good news is that he also sees no reason to think my dad has cancer.

And best of all, he called me directly rather than my parents. So my mother had no chance to put her unique spin on things. :) I have the actual facts this time.

I should sleep much better tonight.

Sorry to be late with this. I'm really glad to hear that you're dad is relatively ok. I know it's been a real worry for you, and no wonder.

That is good news, Dinah. How is your dad feeling?

That's nice of the doctor to call you. I bet you're very relieved. No need for unnecessary drama.

Take care. I hope your whole family is doing well? BTW, how is your brother?

Laurie
