I am doing really well. I hesitate to say it, considering the struggles others are having. But, things still aren't perfect for me. I still struggle with sleep. Nights can be very long... And I have to do something soon to get the weight off. But at least I can cope with life now without (at least with with much less) anxiety and depression. That was a HUGE hurdle.God bless

It's been a while hasn't it?!? Thanks for thinking of me! I've been posting less lately as I'm busier at work.I'm doing okay, sort of. I went up to 20mg on Lex and after 6 months (& 15 lbs.), I told my doctor I needed a change because it was making me sooooo sleepy that I couldn't function well - even driving was becoming a problem! So, I switched to Wellbutrin last month. It woke me up and got me motivated and focused, but didn't alleviate my PMDD symptoms. Tonight I'm going to go back on Lex at 10mg & see if that combo will cure what ails me!
Other than that, nothing much has changed in my life to either alleviate or exacerbate my stress level!

Simus I agree with you, my only hurdle now is the weight also, but with some time that will come off too!!! Just keep fighting the fight and ask the good Lord for the strength.Glad your feeling well - me too!! I hope all of our yo-yo's are getting to the same point.

hey mystic....i walk every day 1 1/2 miles and i work out on my gym every other day....it feels great...i have been pulled off of welbutrin i didn't really like it.. and am happy to say bye bye to it...i have started treatment for pcos and i feel more healthy since i started taking the metforin/glucophage..for pcos...take care and enjoy the arobics..it realeases endorphins in your blood and that is great for all us yo yo's...you will feel so much better if you do this..

When I get rich and famous I will buy us all a big "Yo Yo Retreat Home" I will buy an island for all of us, fabulous homes, at your service spa and fully stocked bar with hot bartenders and pool/beach attendents. If ever a Yo Yo wants to get away for a week/month/year I will fly you out on a private jet!!! Sound good, hows that for a freebie...hahaha

Hey Lexy thanks...I wouldnt expect any less from you..truely..hahahah your the best..and I will get well just to be able to enjoy these things...Had a rough night we found out yesterday that Melissa has hyperthyroidism for sure her bloodwork came back again yesterday so she cannot see a specialist until august 19th figures..and of course her insurance doesnt cover it...But she is not feeling good she is anxious...upset stomach..headache..she is out of control this really stinks..she called me this morning at 4:30am and her power had gone out and she was wigging out as to her milk (nursing) was going to unfreeze in the freezer..she made it sound like that baby was going to starve she was out of control and I couldnt figure what to do..She ended up mad at me and hopefully went back to bed as I suggested...We are bringing Ryan to the babysitters for the first time this morning I can only imagine what that is going to bring she is not happy about that and with her hormones all over the place it shouldnt be fun..not to mention I'm not real thrilled about it either..She still has another week and a half before starting work but wanted to make sure everything went smoothly...well needless to say I'm not feeling that great today..hahaha...Please pray and everyone have a great day....yoyo..mystic

I am on 5mg of lex and an occasional xanax - like twice a month usually around the PMS week.
It has been a long road, I think we can all say that, but I am just happy to have some relief and I hope all the yo-yo's find some relief too!!

What exactly is hyperthyroidism? I am assuming it is maybe an overactive thyroid?
I hope that your morning goes well with bringing Ryan to school - God knows we have all been there before and if you haven't than you are very lucky. I am sure he will be fine, but it's you and Melissa that I am worried about. Take a deep breath and relax. Let us know how it went.

Hi Everyone, I have been so busy lately and have not been able to post. I have had company for the past two weeks. Lexapro helped me to deal with the stress of having people in my house. It got a little touchy towards the end but I think I handled everything okay. Whew! I'm gonna miss them but I am sure glad they left!
