a therapist that i recently saw gave me info on a new herbal stimulant for women called avlimil. i had seen a commercial for it the week before and looked it up online, but seeing as how i've been depressed, my sex life hasn't been a main concern. i'm kind of skeptical about anything like this, and i'm also concerned about interactions with my meds. www.avlimil.com lists the ingredients in the pills, but i thought maybe someone out here has some first hand knowledge-experience with it.

No personal experience but the herbs listed are imnsho not the best blend to 'enhance sexuality'
It is hard to say without knowing which meds you are on what potential reactions you may or may not be prone to.
just from their site: ****Isoflavones (from kudzu root extract and red clover extract)
Avlimil provides isoflavones derived from Kudzu Root and Red Clover extracts. If estrogen levels are low, these isoflavones are reported to act as “weak estrogens.”****I have to say that reported to act? Reported by whom? What studies are they referring to? Mickey Mouse as consultant? Very vague refs immediately get my quack meter going.
Looking over the rest of their proprietary blend I'm not impressed as I could find those herbs individually for probably cheaper and have much greater efficacy. Just my opinion.
But if this has worked for some women then groovy for them. I wouldn't put one of these past my lips personally.

and i'm sorry i don't know anything about the question posted, i jsut had to tag gabbi.
but, lithium helped me for a while, but only because it made me hypomanic for a while.. i owuldn't suggest trying it just for that reason of course, and i still don't understand why at a low dose it made me that way. but, i was calling my doctor at the time asking for prescriptions for plastics.
