Hi Nikki,
I haven't known you for long myself but just wanted to say that you are like a "founding" part of this place, and I know how much you'd be missed. Your positions have come from many years of experience and you've earned them, and I wish for you that you'd never be upset by peripheral matters going on. And I think some of those have been calmed and right about now may be when that is reflected...
I'm sad that you're sad and think that could get better on its own now, but of course know that you have to do what's best for you. I probably have no business speculating on anything but wanted to say I too enjoy your contributions and hope you soon feel better...

make it clear its *really* not about anything or anyone here.. I'm just feeling very frustrated and agressive at the moment, and things that normally wouldn't bother me in any way are getting to me.
Its because I think so much of the people here that I don't want to risk any fallings out.. and so I am just going to keep my distance for a while..
I hope that makes some sense.. Life just feels out of my control at the moment and its affecting me in wierd ways!

Haven't "talked" to you much but have seen you around for as long as I've been coming. I understand sometimes things just hit the wrong way for whatever reason....Commendations for catching yourself before the fallout instead of having to make copious amends.

i'll read a book in your honor and we can discuss it when you return, ok? what about "the tao of pooh" ??? it's been sitting on my shelf forever and i have yet to read it... i'll do this now, and hope when you return you are in better spirits. i'm serious, you've motivated me to finally read it. i'll start tonight. take care of yourself. and keep reading!
