My advice is to call whatever doctors or therapist you have. Get yourself to a hospital. Call a suicide hotline.

We're nice people and we care. But we're not enough under the circumstances. You need real life help and you need it now, even if your overdose didn't cause any lasting harm this time.

Please. Get real life help. It's the best advice *I* can give. It's the advice I'd give myself.

Similarilone
I need to echo Dinah on this one. The point isn't that you didn't succeed, but rather that you are feeling so troubled that you even thought about it.
For me, it is a really narrow line between 'expirementation' and trying. The problem is that when I'm in bad enough shape to try something like you described, I can't guarantee my own safety. I don't know that if I am alive today, that I won't try tomorrow.
The hospital has helped me quite a few times. In the past 2 to 3 years, I've had seven hospitalizations. I have needed every single one. I used to feel like a failure because I needed to be there. I tried to avoid going to the hospital. I used to fight it, sometimes I still don't want to go.
The truth is that I need help sometimes. From the sound of it, you might too. That's not a bad thing, it's just that things have gotten a bit worse than you have resources to handle. That's ok too, because there is a way to fix it. There are people to help you learn new resources, and to give you the time you need to sort things out.
Please, please call somebody. Even if it's a friend to come over, and to call a hospital or crisis line. Sometimes I need a friend here. They can help me make the calls I need to make.
We care about you here. It hurts us to see you in that much pain. The important thing is that you can make it through this.
I'm thinking about you, and sending you all the best wishes I can. I hope you take care of yourself sweety.
Dee.

Klonopin OD update

well I'm still sleepy but not as much as yesterday. My brother just took me out to eat. General anxiety and "spaciness" I'm taking the Wellbutrin XL (or the placebo, who knows) I won't know until I have the klonopin out of my system and I can guage the side effects.

I have an appt. tomorrow with the study doctor and I'm going to tell him all this. They'll prolly kick me out of the study, in which case I'll just start taking the SR again (I don't think medi-cal covers the XL...I could be wrong.)

Silmarilone,
I am very glad that you will be talking to someone. Whether or not you are out of the study, I feel much better knowing that you will do something about the way that you feel.
You deserve very much to feel better. I'm sorry for whatever it was that led you to feel desperate, but it will get better.
Dee.

So, to avoid a big crash from my 25mg friday night (I'm starting to feel really anxious) should I take a little as a taper, like 1mg or something, then half tomorrow night, etc? Will all 25mg be gone at the same time?

what is your usual dose? no, you don't have to 'taper' after an OD, but you may have withdrawal if you are used to taking a fixed amount of klonopin each day.
hope you are feeling better- judy
