KK. I can't tell you how flattered I am by your touching and poignant post to me. It truly defines the absolute essence of our relationship here at Babble. Your elequent and emotional expression of the "connection" we have is succinct yet expresses volumes about how we feel toward each other. You must have toiled for hours to come up with such a perfect message that so adequately describes your feelings. After reading your post I was blushing like a school girl. I am in awe of your inate ability to capture and capsulize the plethora of complicated emotions involved here. I only wish I could reciprocate, but alas, I am afraid my heart belongs to another. (Bob are you reading this?) I could say more but it's probably best if I don't. I will close by simply saying(but not nearly as wonderfully as you did).....Hello, back atcha.

Peace, Love, and Happiness

Did I slip? I know I stumbled
Did I trip? 'Cause I know I fell

(I am clumsy you know?)

kid, you have a rather extended vocabulary, I'm not sure if I should be ecstatic or intimidated. Whether you're talking at me or to me. If you are poking fun at me or flattering me. Well, which is it?

And your heart belongs to Bob? Well, I suppose that makes two of us, along with Jai. This fierce competition for Bob's affection shall soon become the demise of Babble. I'm rather certain Bob saw it coming when he began Babble. And what would your wife say about this? Perhaps I should call information and get your number, just to inform her? With you out of the picture, and then there were two.....

Thank you for everything. You really have no idea. Now, let's get back to having fun. I flirted with my law professor again today, want to hear about it? He has a husky too (dog that is...) And another sexy man in a tie smiled at me today. And to think, just the other day I was thinking I had lost my touch. I'm glad I'm happy again. No more wine and bourbon for Karen, at least not for a few days, that is...

you are too kind for posts. Thank you for responding. And responding perfectly, I might add. You have a knack for that, though I'm sure I don't have to tell you that. Thank you for being Slinky. I'm glad to know Slinky. Slinky's a good person to know. Now, if I could only know her better?

You must understand. I am a complete idiot. I lack both perception and comprehension. My only defense is insanity.(and it's a good one) And about this Ryan and Brian....Just who in the heck are they? are they brothers? Siamese singers connected at the chorus? As I have mentioned countless times before, I might look smart but I really don't have a clue. When you post to me write VERY slowly as my reading skills are that of challenged sea weed. Please accept my heartfelt apologies. and if you ever honor me wih another post (and I wouldn't blame you if you didn't) I will read it at least twelve times bfore I make any attempt at a response. Is this making any sense?

Stay calm
kid

I think "Slinky" qualifies as one of those "Favorite Sounding Words," as I believe someone started a thread about recently. It seems Karen agrees. I was wondering Slinky, have you discussed on here how you arrived at your nickname? I heard a cute slinky joke awhile back that made we want to give a few people I know that nickname, but I might be pushing my luck if I repeat it....

And did I mention I am STUPID? I can keep this up forever, if you do...

About Ryan Adams: You should pick up the album "Gold". It's a good'n. And no, they aren't brothers. I doubt they are even related. I think Brian wrote that song "Summer of 69" but that's all I know about him. Don't really care to know much more. Ryan, on the other hand, oh, I'd like to know SO much more....

I'll try to type slower, but you should try to read slower, ok? Deal? Or just know that I'm not always mean. Or maybe I am :)

About staying calm: I'm calm right now and typed this so slow it took me half an hour to shoot this one out. I lost track of what I was saying and lost my first few original thoughts. Is that what you want? Don't be sorry (or sory, soryyy if that's the correct spelling) kid, just keep writing. I'd rather you be witty and writing than sorry and not. And besides, what in the world do you have to be sorry about (other than the mean wife of course)? Your incredible talents? Your wonderful humor? Your beautiful kids? Very funny posts that make everyone laugh? Seems you don't really have much to be sorry (sory, soryyy) about... Quit apologizing kiddo.

To you, kid...

In the depth of winter, I finally learned that there was within me an invincible summer.
--Albert Camus (1913-1960)

What is my deal with quotes lately? I'll get out of it soon, promise! I love Camus, by the way. If you have some free time (by that, I mean a few years to ponder your existence) read "The Stranger" by Albert Camus. It's a doozy! I loaned it to someone a while back and I've forgotten who by now. Perhaps I should buy it again? I think I'll do that tonight. Maybe I should stay away from that type of material for now though.

Thank you for your gift. You truly are amazing. If only you knew how much. Thank you for teaching me that there really are other ways of helping people. Thank you, thank you, thank you, thnak you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, ect... (I only wish I could type this out all night....) One more time, thank you and you are amazing!

not to jump into your convo... but who ever else like Ryan Adams is an A+ in my book. Have you ever heard his song "Hey there Mrs. Lovely" it is sooooo good. Do you ever listen to Pete Yorn... he kinda has that same flavor and is cool too... the CD music for the morning after is great.
Just my two cents

i'm not so great at names, or names of songs, or screaming names for that matter. so, do you happen to know which album the song you mentioned is from and the number it is?

also, pete yorn? i used to go to school with some yorns, are they related you think?

with a name like sexy, i assume you have dozens of admirers at your beck and call. that's why i assumed you to be unmarried. feel free to correct me if i'm wrong of course. and about ryan adams, isn't he dreamy? (and they say the man can't dress. ha ha! i beg to differ! i'd take him without clothes any day!)

Karen...
I am a miss. Actually have a serious boyfriend for like the first time ever... I was always more of a play girl until this sweet "good guy" took me by suprise, at 14 months we are still together and he has seen me though my first hellacious bout of depression, caused by a stupid birth control pill!!! Vomit
Anyway, Ryan Adams is a hottie, I actually have only been able to find that song on the internet. Ok curiosity got the better of me so I looked it up, it is an unrealsed song. It is soooooooooo good. I would just download it, it is soooo worth it.
Hope you get this song!!! Tell me what you think!!!!!
Lexy
