Poor Baby! ((((BIG HUG))))

Everyone has been talking about periods, and PMS and such, and I am all through menopause, so I have just been bouncing around the other boards. I hope you have received some good input; looks like a lot of people have had similar experiences, eh? Glad that part of my life is past:)

My grandsons are keeping me busy - we rented "Radio" tonight. Hope you have a nice evening. Sorry to have neglected you:) ...jlynne

i cant wait to talk to my pdoc for the first time, i need to tell him that my anxiety seems to be here more than i remember it being before(before the meds).

Im glad you are doing ok, dental work is no fun but i bet working in a dental office u must have the healthiest teeth!;)

have a good nite and thanks for the reply.

awwww. thank you so much Jlynne, u were missed i thought we lost u for good:( Im glad you are getting to spend time with your family, i can't wait till i have grandkids, or even just kids for that matter.;) these are things that i look forward to. How was 'Radio' it seemed like a sad story when i read the back of the movie box. I heard 21 Grams is supposed to be a great movie too but it supposed to be sad as well. I just discovered that we have a drive in close to my town and i am so excited because i dont think i would get anxious in that situation, i can finally see a movie on the big screen again! yippie!!*big smile*

thank you so much for responding, and all the help that you brought me (belive me you did)
even if we eventually drift off these boards(hopefully only because we have gotten better) then know you helped someone and many others stay strong and encouraged us to keep faith.

((big hug back))

nite. and sweet dreams.

Hi, Mystic. I seem to be losing the battle this morning . . . Very tired, no energy, headachy (oh, yeah . . . just like everyone else on this board! LOL). I have changed the time I take the lex to early pm, but it seems to have made the fatigue worse. I guess I will go back to a.m.'s and hope that the energy comes back eventually.

The grandkids are great - they are what makes life really worth living. I won't even try to explain that - there is just no way for you to believe how you are going to feel about it until it happens. You will see:) I will be taking the two older boys home this afternoon, but bringing back the little one (2yrs old) for tonight and tomorrow.

I hope your mouth is feeling better. It must have been hard on your jaw to keep it open for that much work.

God bless. ...jlynne

Hey, Magdalena. The kids and I really liked "Radio" . . . there were some sad moments, but it is really a "feel good" movie. We were all smiling big at the end:)

Hey Girl,
5mg is not very much paxil at all. Most people I know on it take at least 15mg. If you are not seeing any improvement you may want to pop your dose up. Good luck

Hey Mag...it is frustrating that it takes so long to get into see a dr when you dont feel good!!!...I think that you will need to go to a higher dose of the paxil because you are at a very low dose and that might be why you dont think it is doing any good..Or you could also inquire about the lexapro..>But you know from reading the posts that you are going to be anxious for a while on anything that you take and it is just the way the meds are but you will get through it and we will help and you will be ok..So I really wish that you were going sooner because I dont want you to be anxious...I want you to start to feel better...But we are here for you and after our cycles we will all be cured...(well almost)...But hang in there and I promise you will get through...Mystic

Mrs. C and all,
Thank you for thinking about me. I guess we're not all meeting in the social place after all.
It's midterm at the university I teach at, I've had a lot of students to deal with who haven't been doing their work and now expect to pass the class anyway, and my baby and I have been sick. Then last week a student's promising and talented 16-year old daughter died of a pulmonary embolism--and she phoned me to say that because of that she wouldn't be able to pick up her take-home midterm. I am devasted by this news; last night she came back to class and she told me privately that she and her dauhgter were in bed together when it happened. So I would like to ask that you all pray for Susan and Pat, too. Mrs C. and all of you, take care.
Love, Edna

Hi jlynne,
I have posted on the other board but this is my first here. We are around the same age as I am also through menopause. I have been fighting this anxiety/depression for almost 2 yrs.I have 3 grandchildren who live close & there are days that I simply cannot keep them. They make me so nervous.I have finally learned to look out for myself instead of worrying what people think so I keep them if & when I want to. I enjoy this new post.
