Help a Diet Pill isn't Making Me look Like a Model

Posted by AreMedsGood on February 13, 2004, at 5:32:47

Why dont I look like a model yet, I still look overweight even after taking this pill for two months. The company promised me a loss of up to 50lbs per week, all I had to do was sit on the couch and do nothing, I was even told I could eat as much junk food as I want and I would turn into an instant model?

I just have to say...... I am so frickin glad you are back!!!! Thank you so much!!! And that was so funny! Thanks for the laugh! Thank you for so much more than you'll ever know, jyl..

As for the pills, do you at least get a buzz??? I mean are they at least good for something? give me some good news here.... If you don't feel anything, try wiring your jaw shut. Is that an option? I was on an all rice diet once.. That worked... A cup of rice a day. Dump the pills. Try a cup of rice a day. And if you watch one of those surgery shows on Discovery Channel, it helps to curb your appetite.

I am pretty oblivious to my body, it's just there... I could go either way. My weight is never stable and I don't care....

But I particularly am fascinated with other peoples bodies, but not always in a sexual way. I like to look... And watch how people walk. If they stomp, if they're graceful and flow, if they just drag their feet, how their arms move when they walk... Is there soemthing wrong with me, you think? Maybe I should be studying Sociology instead of tcom? But, what kind of a job could Iget with that? Wht kind of job can I get with Tcom? I don't want a job. I don't want to grow up! I REFUSE!!! I jsut want to sit on the corner and watch people interact.... Wil osmeone fund my study?? Is that similar to what Dr Bob does here?? Could I be his assistant? I'll wear a low cut shirt and a push up bra! It'll be padded, I promise!

Hmm, I'd dump the diet pills. I recently spoke to my therapist about losing weight. She said that the easiest way was to eat healthy meals and to have small snacks throughout the day. (I binge sometimes and this was to curb the binge eating and involuntary purging). She also said that if I wanted to lose weight, I would have to start exercising. I've come to accept that there is no easy way to lose weight. Start small. Take a walk. By the way, eating proper foods has done wonders for my moods. Hang in there, and I wouldn't try to look like a model, they only make up 1% of the population, and no one expects you to look like that. Just be as healthy as you can.

Not to mention that models ARE NOT at a healthy weight ... being 5 foot 10 and weighing 95 pounds is not healthy at all. Apparently, eating disorders are quite commont in that line of work.

I just think its been brought on (the drend of twiggy-like models) by lazy clothes makers ... after all, its much easyer to make clothes for a body that has no shape whatsoever and is super tiny than to actually make clothes that fit "normal" people
