Happy New Year, one and all

Posted by Larry Hoover on December 31, 2003, at 22:58:32

May the good things get better,
And the not so good things grow less,
May life get easier,
And the opportunity for joy more frequent.
May your spirit find calm waters,
And may the Great Spirit cast its warm shadow upon you.

Lar

May the Great Spirit warmly embrace, and support you in Strength and Wisdom.

The wisdom and strength to listen, learn and share; especially where we differ;

Wisdom to "listen" and feel, and the Strength to face the more difficult things; not to shut out and avoid;

Wisdom to listen to and know yourself,
yet the Strength to distance yourself from your own feelings long enough to view from different perspectives
and the Strength to apply this to your interactions with others.

Wisdom to listen to and know yourself, and Strength not allow any others to influence you to the extent you are no longer true to yourself..
to thine own self be true, even if this is not the easiest path

Wisdom to realise the easiest path is not necessarily the correct one
and the strength to overcome challengers along the way
But also the wisdom to see when the path is a dead end and the strength to start over again

The strength to cross stormy waters if need be and the wisdom to make as smallest waves as possible

May be Great Spirit warmly embrace you making even the stormiest journey along the roughest route peaceful and enjoyable: turing the challengers and choppy waters into interesting times
