Does anyone have any ideas for an official name for the ambiguity trophy? My artistic knowledge is not broad enough to supply an appropriate title.

I too am saddened. My joke was trying to lighten the situation. If it fell flat it fell flat. I wish you wouldn't jump to conclusions about my motives. I hope that Brio knew I was joking.
From an old friend I expected more kindness in interpretation. I guess we were both disappointed.

I must have misinterpreted your words and reading this clarification concretes that in my mind. My apologies since you were obviously (now with the clarification) not being unsupportve but instead trying to lighten the mood with silliness. (I am of the opinion this world needs MORE silliness and am grateful that you were interjecting some here)
Yet another example of the shortcomings of this form of communication. Without nuances and intonations of facial features and voices it is quite difficult to interpret the written word as the author intened it.
Again, my apologies to you Dinah.

Thank you Zenhussy. I am always glad when misunderstandings are cleared up. I hope you feel the same way when you read the post I wrote above to you. Please understand that I am weary, and afraid of a repeat of what happened in mid April. This fear probably has colored my responses both to you and to Wendy.
P.S. Since this post was so lovely, I'll confess that my retraction of all that I said before was based on my sadness at having distressed yesac. If you look at the posting times, you'll see that this is congruent with the facts.

not feelin' too charming today. just had a good cry and removed the cute postcard the ex drew-- it had two cartoony yellow figures with big red hearts and anatomically correct nether regions,and the male was reaching into the body of the female toward her big red heart. Hey, maybe it was foreshadowing-- ripping out the heart, not caressing it after all. it's been a week and I guess he's not changing his mind. I'm going to the fair by myself. boo hoo.
