Thanks for all THOSE who were cool,
for the rest, god help you too.
thanks for the visit.
Dr. Bob, you should really stop blocking people for dumbass reasons, you could do some real harm;)
Dr. Bob really should realize that hacking is a criminal offense-he was traced.
Take care everyone and be careful................Kristen

" Dr. Bob really should realize that hacking is a criminal offense-he was traced."
I hope you're referring to something other than Bob's attempts to get help for you after you sent out an email that gave a number of posters here the impression that you had deliberately OD'ed. Your message to your friends put them in a awful position of helplessness, and they sought the assistance of other posters and of Bob to try to find a way to track you down.Mair

Look Kristen - I didn't intend my post as a defense of Bob's administrative policies. I'm not reticent to criticize him where I think criticism is warranted , and I can think of innumerable times where I've disagreed with a block or a warning or a Board policy etc.
My only point was that I didn't think he merited criticism for trying to get some help for you. When Sar killed herself, I think there were alot of us here who felt very hamstrung by the limitations of internet relationships. Before I found out she had killed herself I had been giving a lot of thought about how to track her down and realized I just didn't have enough information to be able to find her. Observing what your friends were going through when they thought you had or were about to hurt yourself brought back a flood a memories. I read in your friends' posts that same sense of helplessness.
That's really the only point I was trying to make. FWIW I thought Bob pulled the trigger on you too quickly.

My attorney's here
Take care of you

Are you really accusing DR Bob of hacking your pc?? Hacking is very serious thing.. it involves getting access into another persons machines, to gain information or change things, things like that.
Knowing a few hackers, I find it incredibly hard to believe that Dr Bob could even do this (no offense Dr B, but you don't strike me quite geeky enough to be a hacker!!).. its requires ALOT of knowledge and practice. If, on the other hand, you mean he contacted your ISP or the police in order to get information on where you lived in an attempt to save your life, after you strongly hinted, to your friends, that you were actively trying to kill youself, then this is NOT hacking. This is caring.
No ones asking you to thank any of the people that tried to find where you were.
Nikki

Kristen, in addition to the reply I posted on teh other board, I would like to say that it is ok to leave. Many of us have left and come back. Maybe you will come back, maybe you will decide this place isn't for you.
But the most important thing is that clearly this board isn't helping you in your life right now. I think it is adding to your agitation. YOur life is full of stress now and you are seeming very agitated. Many of us worry about you but also might feel angry at you because it is hard to have someone announce suicidal intentions and then leave. I know it isn't as hard as being the one who is suicidal, though. And I know that when someone is in such distress it is important to get in-person help rather than rely on a web site for help.
Please, please, Kristen, get care in person. Maybe hospitalization or day treatment could help you get stabilized and out of the stress of your family home, which I know must be so difficult from what you describe.
Please take care of yourself by getting the care you need in person. You deserve not to suffer like this, and it is possible to get better through treatment, even though at dark times like this it may not seem possible.

Answer: yes
I know some of you care-that's not what I'm looking for. I don't know what I'm looking for-please respect that Nikki. Did I say that no ones asking me to thank any of the people that tried to find where I was?-I don't believe so-I THANK PEOPLE BECAUSE THAT'S ME, ALWAYS HAS BEEN HERE you don't even know me,
trust me I won't be posting, I know the people who care and we correspond through email. THOSE are the ones I have thanked over and over

Sorry.. the sentance about thanking people was not meant to be in the msg... It was part of a longer sentance that showed it in a better context, but while I deleted part of it, I obviously didn;t delete all of it.
It was harsh of me, and I apologise.

Kristen,
Don't underestimate the people who don't happen to correspond with you through e-mail. I, for one, for whatever it's worth, care.No one has corresponded with me outside of this site but I believe many Dr. Bobber's care. I am so grateful to this site and the people in it. We are all just people, don't forget that, we can't all be saviours, or perfect anythings for that matter.
This site is the most healing place I have found on the internet. It's amazing to be able to spout off, bitch, moan, be nice, and just plain interact.
This is the end of the thread.
