but Hi everyone. yesterday was stressed to the max, tonight oddly content. I've accidentally wandered into a little stream of well-being. Ahhhhhh.

I'm glad you're feeling content tonight, Tabitha Cat. I won't feel really good till spring comes around again (or someone sends me on an extended holiday to sunny climes - yeah, right!). Thinking of you & our conversation about slugs & snails. I'd need to avoid you in winter as I have the ability to morph into a giant slug come winter, only I don't leave slimey trails as I love about. ^_*
Maybe, the idea of a hibernating bear is a better fit.

Isom..just butting in ...

I still have slugs or slug , I watched it one night in my safari suit and torch helmet..it amazes me all that slime from one teenie body.
I've also discovered a lovely fungi garden growing around my bathroom..be nice to harden it as decor paint it with that glowing paint.

Glow in the dark fungi garden - finally a use for genetic engineering & gene-slicing. Imagine putting phosphorescent matter from glow worms into fungi. Black light parties in the bathroom!

I think it amusing when people try ot scatter egg shells about their garden, thinking it discourages slugs & snails from crawling over it. I saw a film with a slug crawling across the edge of a razor blade. The mucus it makes protects itself.

I had so many snails at one place I lived at, I gathered them up in a huge container & when they'd try to crawl over the edge to freedom, I flicked them back in saying "Back! Back, boys & girls." After all each one is a boy & a girl - they're hermaprodites. Afterwards, I fed them to the fish in the pond with no qualms whatsoever.

I got your email & will write you back soon. Thanks!

If only household mold and mildew glowed pretty colors. Wouldn't that be a survival plus? I know I'd be even less likely to clean the bathroom if the gunk glowed pink and blue.

IsoM, that film about the slug on the razor, didn't Marlon Brando mention that in Apocolypse Now? My snails are living in peace now as I've neglected my garden recently. They'll all be plumping up since it's rainy season (such as it is) here now.

Dreamer Z, where is that first wrinkle? Between your lovely eyebrows? On the left side of your nose?

All you need is some coloured fall leaves scattered about & a small toad to make it homey. Outside, fungi is lovely. In our house, it's another thing completely - yeck!
