Ooh! Everything is in 3D.

Posted by Dinah on July 23, 2002, at 13:30:35

I woke up from my little nap and found the board had been made into three D. Like one of those children's books. Dr. Bob's picture looks so real...

Ocular migraine or has the world changed on me?

Dinah dear..
That happens to me a lot..he becomes animated ..better now that he isn't looking straight at me..he has often talked..freaky..wonder if it would be better if he wasn't there?

Now I feel almost uncomfortably relaxed..and I bet you even understand that statement. I didn't have 3d computer syndrome... It happened because of a sticker on the window, I was tripping out on it.
If I stared at the sticker in just the right way Somehow, the scenery behind became surreal and it was like one of those pictures that you have to stare at long enough to find the hidden pop-out object.
Boy toss me an elastic and I could be busy all day..

I stared at Dr. Bobs Picture.....

You're right it DOES become animated , and he spoke to me.
He said he's buying me a house because he likes me the best out of everyone.

That is just phase 1 of PB addiction syndrome. Next, the messages become 3D, the thread topics become part of your dreams, visions of other babblers start hovering above your bed at night, then, oh, I don't know what, I'm all out of things to say.

You are right: I was almost becoming a victim of the syndrome. Because now that I'm thinking more clearly he didn't say he would buy me a house because I was his favorite, he said it would be a good tax write-off Whew, I'm glad you warned me. That could made a lot of people feel bad.

No message is underneath its just a comment in the subject box.

No worries, I'm absolutely new to board protocol and terminology. I didn't know what L.O L meant until last week, and this week I figured out that the :) is a sideways happy face which means what a happy face usually does, or in a lot of cases, something said teasingly can look really harsh in type so to let you know they put a :) beside it. No feelings hurt.

Phil did that when he posted about Michael Franks.
Thats all I know, but if I figure anything else out about the other universe of cyber-etiquette I'll let you know.

Gabbi, you should be in bed by now! you don't sound depressed to me. Are you sure you're not just in this for the fun? about the music thing--I don't mean to be overbearing. I've been really into music since i stared playing piano at 4. I even had a music scholarship to college in theory and composition( I don't mean to boast). By the way, I did't say that m.f. sang the blues--I said he was the keeper of that cool blue flame. It's more jazz fusion than anything else. just listen and you'll see. o.k., no more on the subject. If it's not to intrusive what age bracket are you in? you seem pretty "together"--that's all. Bobby

But bobby dear I don't have a bed, I won't even have a home in 2 weeks!

No, you aren't being overbearing,at all I'm a jazz lover and when you love music you always want to hear more. And I'm so out of the "loop" I hardly hear of anything new. I'm actually going to get the C.D. tomorrow.
No unfortunately(for me) I'm not in this for the fun of it. Though its helped me a lot As a matter of fact I was just released from the hospital after a suicide attempt, and very angry that I was "Saved"

I've been diagnosed with Cyclical Unipolar progressive refractory (medication resistant)
depression. And unfortunately the Psychiatrist who diagnosed me is one of the best in his field (In Canada) Credentials are of course debatable and Many Dr's who are venerated have done horrible things.
But this man is truly wise, and correct in my case. Funny I hear the 'together' thing a lot but a lot of really acomplished people have crippling depression episodes. Its just thats when no one sees us. Right now though my episodes are so close together that I can't work and thats making things worse. I used to be an artists model, and had a really colorful multi-textured life but now, I'm living with my Dad in a very small town where you can't even get a good coffee, and its sucked whats left of my soul dry.

Oh my, that sounded so so melodramatic, and self-obsessed, its true though.

Oh and my age "bracket" is 33

I'm sorry I really went on, there Bobby, but I don't really see anyone or talk to anyone anymore so I tend to over"talk" my welcome.

My e-mail is princessdirt@hotmail.com if you want to talk (figuratively speaking)Then I can ask you questions.
and I'll let you know about Michael Franks tomorrow.

Just another cyber hint:
When/If you post email addresses post them like this: Gabbi at hotmail dot com Because (from what I understand) there is software or something that scans and spams for all those Gabbi@whatever.net highlighted ones. :)
Does that mean I can bug you too? :) I always thought you were around 20. Hmph, go figure.

Thank-you Sandra Dee. I didn't have a clue.
I sound pretty juvenile don't I, I still get regularly I.D' for cigarettes, by young people, so I guess I can get away with it for now. But this depression thing won't take long to remove the "bloom of youth" from my face.

Yes, feel free to "bug" me. Its really nice having other peoples thoughts in my head for a change.

missed all the fun. darned day job. (nm)

Thank-you SATAN for casually mentioning dancing naked and causing me to develop an "earworm" The song "Shadow Dancing" by Andy Gibb has been buzzing in my head for 9 hours and shows no signs of stopping
