SUPPORT THREAD -- 4/7 -- CHECK IN

Posted by Zo on April 7, 2002, at 17:10:37

Please write us your feelings, your reaction, whatever you want. Stay grounded: check in here.

Keep the thread stong and honest.

Even with Sar's death as yet officially unconfirmed, we are all hurt and scared.

May The Circle Be Unbroken.

Zo,

I didn't feel ready to post my feelings on a new thread, so I added them to the other thread. I'm really not sure why, but I do appreciate that you set up a separate, pure thread. Maybe I needed to keep the unsureness of Sar's death a reality, and maybe we can move over here after a confirmation.

Shelli

Right Shelli. Smart, smarter than smart. We need to be smart right now. Anyone seen Lili?

I'm going to spend 10 minutes trying to do the Yahoo chat, what happens is they say my password is bad and we go thru the whole process of getting a new one, then say they will email the password to me w/in an hour or two. This is what the email says:

HERE IS YOUR NEW YAHOO PASSWORD:

PLEASE PUT IT IN A SAFE PLACE.

I feel confused, sad and scared. It's terrible that sar didn't get the help she desperately needed. I will choose to think now that we all have an angel watching over us.
Farewell sar, I hope to meet you face to face one day.

Not sure what to say other than this hurts and wish someone could have helped her. I'm sure we can all relate all too well.

I didn't know Sar all that well. Ironically we are from the same town but didn't get a chance to communicate much on pbabble. I must say I got a big sunk feeling when I read the post. :-(

I don't know...must be really hard going for those of you who are especially close.

Hang in there.

the unreality - she's gone - who was she - we knew so little & so much of her - the emptiness - the utter aloneness - a vacuum - the finality - the rush of emotions returning from losing a friend 8 years ago - blank, staring at the monitor for long moments, no thoughts, nothing - just staring, empty, sar's gone - she's really gone - she's really gone?

I've got this sad, sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach. Sar's suicide makes me feel as if it could have been any of us...even me. I've been suicidal before. I've attempted suicide. But all it takes is one "successful" time...I feel vulnerable.

sarah:

i'm running out the stupid door, and am very sorry this will be short.

it made me feel vulnerable as well. and guilty for the times i have attempted such a thing.

please check into chat if you can. i can't be there tonight but will be tomorrow. also, consider something mouse said (i hope she doesn't mind my using it here - was on chat) --

"we are alive, we are here - sar isn't"

so aptly put, so simple and all encompassing. we are here to continue to live and fulfill some purpose. i do believe that.

take care.

- kk
