My oldest daughter called me on Saturday to tell me that she's pregnant with my first grandchild...
So I guess it wasn't a total bust :)
2002 has definite possibilities.

Congratulations! I was there for the birth of my grand daughter on July 9th of this year and she's been a delight to me ever since her first breath! I wish you as much joy with your grandbaby as I have had with mine.
And get used to being Grandpa... it's a BLAST after the initial shock wears off! :)

Congratulations, grampa!!! I bet you will be a fantastic grandparent.
(Semi-related tangential trivia: I did hear some analyst say something about a baby boomlet happening since people are "nesting" more since Sept. 11th, but OBs surveyed seem to be saying the pregnancy rates haven't gone up.)
