Yee Haw!!! You finally made it to legal drinking age! And then some... :) How old are you?....
On this most special of birthdays I wanted to thank you. When I first came to this site 2 years ago you were one of the first people to welcome me and we became fast friends. Since that time we've come to each other very well. This last year has been a real tough one for me and you've spent countless hours on the phone with me listening to me whine and cry, piss and moan, scream and yell. You've listened when I've needed you to listen, talked when I've needed your advice, called me on my bullshit, and given me those often needed kicks in the ass, which I've needed most of the time... You are one of the kindest, caring and most giving people I have ever met in my life, and I am honored to call you my friend. You are truly a blessing in my life. I know I will never be able to repay all the gifts you have given to me, but I promise to never stop trying. I hope everyone here is fortunate enough to have a friend like you.
I hope you have a wonderful birthday, get lots of presents, and have a great dinner (make them spring for steak and lobster :)). You deserve the best!

I'd like to reply, but while reading your very kind and complimentary post my head started growing and I can't see my screen or keyboard too well.You are too generous and sweet to say all that. Every time we've talked I've been nothing but pleased that you are in my life, and that our friendship has grown and deepened.
I'm printing that sucker out, so next time you give me shi* I can whip out a copy and show it to you! And I'll happily keep kicking your ass as needed, especially since you are still a young whippersnapper!
BTW I am one-half of a century old today. Yee Hawww is right!!! I wouldn't go back to 20 again for anything...but I might try 38 or so...
