Who knows, maybe it made national... whatever, it gave me a very ill feeling.
They actually took the homeless people from Salt Lake City Utah(where the olympics are being held this year) and put them on a bus to Las Vegas! Don't want it to look bad for all the Salt lake tourist.
Is this wrong? Or is it me? Now our governer is saying he wants to ship them back.

i believe atlanta did the same thing for the '96 games. homelessness in america doesnt exist, remember, this is the land of plenty and opportunity. atleast the rest of the world is honest.

That is actually a very old practice---early american social policy about the poor and indigent--common practice was to cart them out of town to the next village.

In London they recently had a big survey of the homeless and found homelessness was down about 60% on five years previous... Turns out they had opened a new one night shelter and carted everyoneoff to it the night they did the survey! Hmmmm, gives me alot fo faith in our system.

That sounds like out and out FRAUD! Are they being taken to court on that one?
