Am I Real Mad or just saddly warped?It's okay honesty doesn't leave bruises....just lost new friend think my writing/mind was feeding her paranoia taking her head to depths full of piranhas and bananas.

I read posts, like this one, and get so totally confused as to what you're saying.
I'm not making an attack on you dreamer, I'm just so lost in the language that I don't really understand what the question is.....and it's not just you. There are lots of posts that I just don't get and I'm starting to think something has gone really wrong inside my brain......>

kid_A hit it - what if you are Real Mad? I am certain now that I am. I imagine most truly creative people are.
I have lost friends because of it, too. I have mourned, but then thought deeply about it and decided I didn't really want to deal with them anyway.
I love you just the way you are.

the ever creative genius under the name dreamer,
i wonder myself if there actually is a line between genius and madness. perhaps only the true genius can understand the madness in the creativity. i for one, find your writing fascinating, and always look foreward to reading what you post. a fierce intelligence such as yours is not always the easiest way to break the ice. people always have been and always will be intimidated by intelligence. its something that we all come to terms with. but no dreamer, i dont think you are mad, just simply a vivid creative dreamer

You are not mad like in "madness." But perhaps a little eccentric? I don't think I've ever been described as "crazy," my father some would say yes and I would argue that he is more sane then most. So what would that make me? It just means that I know the man!
So here's another question back at you: How much do you want to be like everyone else? To fit in? Myself I've never quite dressed with the fashion of the day. My own comfort over my clothing is more important than my need to fit in. So you could substitute clothes with anything; thoughts, behaviour, etc. And you can flip it over to be that your need to fit the mainstream is more important than your need for your own personal ideas.
Make any sense?

I was trying to find a Christmas gift for my daughter. It all started with the morning news channel which featured Alana Marshal and she had a song I really liked "Colleen."

Sometimes I can't take stuff that is too weird for me. For example, people told me that Dune was an interesting film. So I got a tape and tried to watch it. I could only manage 10 minute bursts at a time. It was just too strange for me, it felt like it was making me go mad. I did struggle through the whole thing though, and didn't feel it was really worth it, for me, not saying it is a bad film. However drooling over Kyle MacClachlan and Jean-Luc helped pass the time ;-)
I'm not saying that what you wrote above is weird, it made sense to me, I'm just saying I can see how some people could find it too hard to handle.
