PB Open makes me frustrated

Posted by paxvox on September 29, 2001, at 20:33:57

WHY does it happen that every time I try to get onto the PB open, the stupid Yahoo dowad doesn't know who I am? Talk about your multiple personality disorders! (no offense to those offended).

Possiblely Nit Picking Paxvox,(minute and usu. unjustified criticism), do you come here first, then click on open and then click on chat...someimes there is a 'sorry' sign, but i keep clicking and eventually get in...why is it some people can't get it? GREG, where are you, go over to Pax's house and fix him.

If I am to come to the rescue then I must first insist on being outfitted in the proper superhero attire....

Does Mighty Mouse have a sidekick?

Pax, when you login to Yahoo groups it asks for your username and password and gives you the option to tell your computer to remember them by checking a box. If you don't check that box, everytime you go into chat, it's going to forget who you are. Computers are basically pretty stupid animals. GIGO.

I hope this helps.

http://www.yesterdayland.com/popopedia/shows/saturday/sa1131.php

'An all-new 1987 series, Mighty Mouse, The New Adventures, was the brainchild of animation pioneer Ralph Bakshi. Bakshi fleshed out the Mouse’s character by making him more introspective and giving him a sidekick, Scrappy, to whom he could confess his troubles'

Greg motivated me to look it up, I am in awe of the internet at times...sometimes forgetting it is there, in awe at what people spend time doing...

Scrappy could be all of you...you... and you....

haven't see MM since I was little, and don't remember Scrappy, I think, perhaps, I am a 50's MM person? What does he look like? Does s/he have a costume, or was he a mumbling dr with a couch? a distant group of friends with comfy chairs? or a good friend with a lively ear?

Now I want to see the episodes, but then, maybe not, I have my own illusions, do I want to disrupt my childhood memories, or would it add to them...?

> I tend to be nostalgic myself (I exist in the wrong time period) so would vote on the fifties version. I vaguely remember the 87 series - I believe it was very short-lived, certainly better than most of the cartoons (have you noticed they're not as good as they were years ago?) but still not as good, not as innocent, perhaps? Sure am looking forward to The Tick.

Thanks, I'll try that next time. I thought that might have been ONE reason, the other was, well, I don't think it likes me.
