I was furious with this....

Posted by oceanbreeze on July 10, 2001, at 23:23:42

This article appeared on a local radio station web page. It not only hurt me, but made me feel worthless. Make sure you read the entire article. If you wish to comment, reply to the station (located in San Diego) at DSC@101kgb.com

MAKING 40 MILLION A YEAR WOULD MAKE ANYONE DEPRESSED !!!
Teen heartthrob AJ McLean, a member of pop phenomenon the Backstreet Boys, is being treated for depression, forcing the group to postpone a series of concert dates, his publicist said on Monday. The statement added the 23-year-old singer ``will immediately undergo a 30-day treatment.'' An MSO spokeswoman refused any further comment. `It's been suggested that we not be so forthcoming about this situation, as many artists in the industry have in the past, but we feel compelled as a group to be honest with our fans and not let them down,' McLean's four bandmates said in the statement. AJ is our friend and our brother, and we wholeheartedly support him during this difficult time. Fortunately, AJ has realized he can't solve his problems by himself. This guy should be shot. Or hey maybe if we get lucky he'll take him and his band member's with him. How in the hell can you be depressed. I mean seriously. I'd be depressed too if chick's threw themselves at me daily, and then on top of that earn 40 or 50 million a year. I think I'm going to break down right now. Guess what loser boy, boo hoo. We all feel bad for you; NOT !!! I can only thank you for being a depressed loser because now I don't have to hear your flaming girly crap come out of my radio, when your flaming band comes to town. And by the way who the hell told you getting pink triangles, and unicorns tattoo'd on your body was cool ? Life played a cruel trick on you, well that and your girlfriends face YOU JACKASS !!!

Blowing through Effexor in my mind.

Much appologies but your post needed a friend. All the dreams coming true can't make you happy usually it's the hope, dreaming and wishing that keeps you warm.
Where's me comfort blanket.

The web site ...

Dreamer, are you on effexor? Just wondering!

Oceanbreeze
I went to the web-site even though you said the article was deleted. I was fuming when I went there. The thing with depression (wether you believe it to be psychological or physcial) is that nothing, money or somebody, can make it go away. It has to happen from within. The whole radio station's web-site was in bad taste. I just couldn't think of anything to respond, except I wanted to congrajulate you on acting. They must have seen how crude the article was and I bet someone in their organization has suffered or knows someone.

Thanks,
Willow

Yep 150 mg . My cats acting odd this morning keeps staring at nothing and following something with her eyes-spooky.
Also had a burglar was prowling the garden in the night called police and as usual they couldn't be bothered to check it out.
I just thought , it's friday 13th.
Where's the garlic.

We should start our own web-site, the modern women on effexor. You can have your wacky cat and I'll show off my crazy puppy. (He chewed the phone-jack off the wall yesterday and barks only when you tell him no. Like I needed another man in my life.)

Your pet driving you insane or making you a little paranoid? Pop an effexor. All you need is a little spare dough, coins don't count. You'll twitch all night long like never before!!

Do you have different types of dreams on this stuff? Mine are so realistic that I'm having a hard time differeniating them from reality.

Hi Ocean,
Even though they removed the link, I also emailed them to express my disgust over the article. It was ignorant and cruel. Thanks for pointing it out so that we could protest.

Lucky me don't have to pay for effexor in uk.Just spent 2 years being labrat for reboxetine-aaggghhh terrible drug anxiety ridden and made me so tired.
Poster child ? I'm a mere 34, but a immature silly one.
Dreams - ever feel your leading a double life? Used to get nightmares-thats reboxetine 4 you.
Now dreams I'm kind of enjoying still get the odd decapitation and loads of sci-fi stuff, but yep they are vivid suppose we should worry -it's the anti-anxiety effects of drug ?
Is it just me or do you get hypomanic?-not over the top dangerous like.
Time will tell if I dive through the wirlpool of doom.
Say hello to your puppies from me- hey this Kazoo thing , keeps me amused, he reminds me of the late Quentin Crisp.
Looked at some poetry of that author Margaret ?? I see the resemblace think her feet are more grounded whereas I'm a chaotic child.

Guess I really AM just Canadian Willow. Didn't find this website particularly offensive. i just chalked it up to a radio guy doing a Howard Stern impersonation to get attention. Guess he sure got that attention.
