injury but not SI... no triggers

Posted by Dory on October 1, 2007, at 14:57:20

sorry about the misspellings and typos guys.. forgive the wahcky words. i injured myself in my...um.. adveture and i have my hands/wrists in braces which make it hard o type. crap... that is the worst one yet. i can't say what my event was, as i can't risk being found in google or something.. but the chatters know... and i'm sorry, i have to say it... IT WAS AWESOME!! worth all the injuries i have today... like the two strained/sprained wirsts, swollen hands, raw knuckles and fingers, fingers unable to bend right, sprained ankle and pulled muscles.... ALL WORTH EVRY MINUTE!!!!

i can't wait to go again next year. sometimes people need to have a serious thrill in life to re-invigorate themselves...

ok... oops... reason for post was just ot warn of the poor wording etc..

off to put more ice on my back.... haha... soooo worth it

Dory, what the heck was your adventure? I hope you had fun given the extent of your injuries. LOL

if you had your babblemail on, i'd tell you, but i don't want to post it so i can't be identified here. Otherwise, you're gonna just have to imagine something terrific and cool ;o)

Bungee jump & cord snapped?
Aeroplane jump & parachute failed?

I wondered about the 'can't risk being found' part. Maybe some sort of incident involving a horse, or other large animal? Rodeo?

Q

Poor Dory - but you do it to yourself :) - take it easy and hope your body starts feeling less achy and painful soon.

Your thread has taken on an air of mystery :) which I will now contribute to (although I know of course what the activity really was)...

* Pogo-stick stunt jumping on a trampoline
* Playing in a confined space with aggressive bulls whilst dressed as Little Red Riding Hood
* Para-gliding blind-folded in a hurricane
* Or all of the above

Witti :)

oh this is positively delightful :o)

maybe there was public nudity involved?

spiderman suction cups climbing a glass building?

so many creative ways to be injured

Quint.. the risk of being found is not quite so delightful. i cannot run the risk of being identified were someone looking for me. i have said too much on babble at times and i cannot take chances.
