anxious

Posted by sunnydays on July 29, 2007, at 21:51:13

I'm anxious and I don't have any idea why. And so sad. I've been having a hard time lately. Can't sleep. Takes me at least two hours to fall asleep, not before 2 am. Restless sleep. Woke up with my head at the foot of the bed today when I started out sleeping normal. Only sleeping 6 hours but so anxious I'm not feeling it.

I wish my T were here to tell me everything's going to be ok.

**You and me both SD.
I started zoloft (AD) and drank an energy drink (I usu drinks lots of them), but it don't mix too good w/zoloft I don't think. Anyhow I feel SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO antsy.
Wish my T was around too.
Mebbe its cuz you working on stuff in therapy SD. That always get stuff all stirred up inside and can be hard.
When do you next see T?
I haven't seen mine in over an month.
I feel like I a dissapointment cuz I feel bad right now.
T is hard.
Being messed is hard.
But I know I gonna feel better eventually, and mebbe I can do good things.
Hope so.
I think you most definately will too SD, and you justa youngun and working at all this stuff so thats great.
Mebbe you can listen to CD? Or are you saving it for extra hard times?
Take care,
Muffled

**** ((((muffled))) It's so disconcerting starting a new medicine because you can have to change your whole routine because of it.

> Wish my T was around too.
> Mebbe its cuz you working on stuff in therapy SD. That always get stuff all stirred up inside and can be hard.
> When do you next see T?

**** I see my T on Tuesday, so not too long. I think it is that stuff is getting stirred up, but usually I have thoughts or memories attached to my feelings and right now it's just the feelings.

> I haven't seen mine in over an month.
> I feel like I a dissapointment cuz I feel bad right now.

**** Is there any way you can see your T soon? I know you're ambivalent about it, but it really really might help. And I don't think she'd be disappointed. I'm certainly not. You can't help how you feel. You can do things to cope, but a lot of the times feeling bad is caused by something you can't really control. Coping can be hard, though, and we just have to try the best we can, no matter how little that is.

**** I know you're going to feel better muffled. And I think you're already doing good things, both here on Babble and with the volunteering you do.

> I think you most definately will too SD, and you justa youngun and working at all this stuff so thats great.

**** I hope I will. It just seems like it's been so long. But my T keeps saying it's a slow, painful process.

**** The CD is a good idea, I hadn't thought of it. Thanks muffled! I'll listen to it.

Muffled did you say energy drinks? Do these drinks have caffeine in them? As it will make you very anxious. Some people get reved on zoloft beginning it and caffeine not now. Love Phillipa

(((((((((sunnydays))))))))))

I hate feeling anxious. Being depressed and anxious at the same time is the pits. Try taking deep breaths and maybe try some exercise.

Let us know how you are doing.

Feel better soon.

Hi Sunnydays,
I hope you can carry the hopefulness of this morning around with you the rest of the day.

Sorry yesterday was so bad.

You ever think about taking something to help you fall asleep? Sometimes just taking a sleeping pill for a bit can help you break the cycle of not sleeping well.

Even though I can't seem to myself, EVERYONE is bugging me to exercise right now. Well, there is one, less-painful alternative.

Since you are SunnyDays, you should know that getting ample daylight is important to keep your circadian clock on a good rhythm. soak it up!

> Hi Sunnydays,

*** Thanks, I'm doing pretty well again today. Something threw me for a loop yesterday (my childhood home that we sold 8 years ago is up for sale and there's pictures of the inside so I can see all the changes and what's the same), but I'm good today.

> You ever think about taking something to help you fall asleep? Sometimes just taking a sleeping pill for a bit can help you break the cycle of not sleeping well.

***** I actually slept very well last night. I've considered taking something, but I am incredibly scared of medication and messing with my brain chemistry and such, so it's difficult to convince myself a problem is bad enough where I might need it.

**** Yes, I've been doing yoga a lot lately. I like it because you can make it as gentle or strenuous as you want, and at least you get a good stretch even if you're not up to breaking a sweat.

**** I try, but I hate being too hot and there's a heat wave now, so I'm trying to stay inside where I have my fan. But I should make sure I get at least a half hour of sun a day, I've heard that's the key amount.
