I'm sleeping way too late ;-)
I'm starting to talk to some people outside of cyberspace. My friends have given me some ideas, and I've updated the resume, sent a couple out.
I was really hit hard by this, but I am sort of enjoying the time at this point. I needed the vacation. (I would not be this positive without the severance, so thank goodness for that)
I have no real idea of what I'm going to do yet, but it's a chance to figure things out. I'm doing OK now, just adjusting.
Thanks for asking, you are so sweet and thoughtful.

It's good that you've been talking to ppl. you sound so much better than the other night - I'm glad. What a scary thing to lose your job, but if you've updated your resume, and already have sent some out, it sounds like your really working on it. I hope something comes up really soon, something you love and get paid well for.
i'm glad that you got the severance, and can take a short break. maybe you need to catch up on your sleep? soon enough you'll be back to work, and have to give that up, so try not to be hard on yourself.
