Or your therapist?

In reply to Pegasus, you quit therapy?, posted by Dinah on May 16, 2004, at 13:45:59
Well, I quit my therapist, and figured I might as well take a therapy break. Not forever - I definitely have major things I still need to work on. But I talked to a gazillion therapists when I was looking for her, so I wasn't really very excited about starting the search again. Plus I've been crazy busy lately, and was thinking an extra hour (plus recover time) every week would come in very handy.
But, actually, just yesterday I talked to an art therapist, and I'm thinking I might start again with her. I need to think about it. I had a blast playing with her art supplies. And if I'm going to keep doing therapy, it wouldn't hurt for there to be a fun element involved. One of the reasons I quit was because I was having to talk my self into going every week, and it was just a major chore. Not something that I wanted to do, despite the dread, like it always was before.
Thanks for asking!
