Alternatives to Celexa, for Topomax takers

Posted by College-Girl on February 18, 2004, at 19:13:56

Hi, this is my first time posting. I am a 23 years old, and I take 60 mg of Celexa and 30 mg of Topomax daily. I think that the Celexa is lossing its effectiveness, because I have been on it so long, so I am looking into alternatives to it. I have been happy with my current combination, and have had no sexual side effects with Celexa. Paxil didn't work well for me. I am particularly interested in hearing from anyone who takes Topomax, and may have insight, because I am new to that drug. Thank you so much for you help! -Liz

Hi College Girl, and welcome to Babble. There are lots of boards on this site. This one is Psychological Babble, about therapy, psychology etc. I think you probably want the medication board, (plain) Psycho-Babble, so I redirected your post there. You can follow the links at the top of the page, and discover all the wonders Babble has to offer (grin), or you can go directly to your post at:

Again, welcome, and feel free to join us here, or on Social as well.
