I just wanted to inform parents that if their children are on abilify - to be careful. My son is 5 years old and weighs 38 lbs. He was put on 10mg of abilify on Monday night and on Wednesday morning he was rushed by ambulance to the hospital with a medication overdose. According to poison control and info I have gotten from BPkids website . . . 10mg is prescribed for someone who is 150 lbs - NOT 38! This was the scariest thing I have ever experienced in my life and I hope this can help someone else avoid such a harrowing situation.
