Isn't it kind of funny how god himself (assuming he wrote the bible) couldn't even be civil???

yes,
its also funny to note that its ok to act judgmental, violent, intolant, hostile, hateful, vindictive and vengeful when its to the "bad" guys.
(assuming god speaks through people)

> (assuming god speaks through people)Sure enough, though I think that is mostly old testament before Jesus came along. But even Jesus would get a civility warning (it can be uncivil to quote him), and of course he would be told to take his anti-psychotics (son of god - sheesh).

Show me one instance in the Bible where God is not civil.

Oh, perhaps I should have been clearer. I meant by babble standards of civility.
