Come Unto Me

Posted by Dena on July 28, 2004, at 9:02:30

Come and dine. I am the living bread, the word. Come, beloved, and sup with Me. Come and receive your sustenance. Let us have sweet fellowship together. Be filled and satisfied, for you need Me more than your necessary food. I support and sustain your spiritual life, which is everlasting. Yet, your flesh cries out to be fed more than your spirit, and you do not neglect that need. Why, then, have you neglected your need to maintain life in the spirit? Come away from your diversions and distractions and seek My face. Certainly, I will be found by you. Come.

Revelation 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.

Wow. That was beautiful! I don't recognize it as being a Bible passage. Did you write that??? Well, regardless, it was awesome.

I can't take the credit, but I can't give it to the appropriate author, either.

I received it anonymously, through email, as a prophetic word to me. I felt it could apply to others as well, so I shared it.

I choose to see it as God's words to me (& others who will receive it). He works through mysterious means, including my email inbox!

He's definitely calling me away from my distractions lately. Time to forgive, break off soul-ties with those who've harmed me, and to allow Him to be my Vindicator. He still loves those who've harmed me, and He can enable me to do so as well.

Shalom, Dena

Note that whenever God requests something of us, he also gives directions and understanding. That was beautiful Dena.
