Of course, as usual the benign nature religion gets 30 seconds, and a bunch of sensationalist crap about black magic and satanism gets 20 minutes. If they did shows like that constantly, about the (well documented) dark side of Catholicism, Judaism, etc there would be OUTRAGE.

Good point. However, in judging the dark side to other religions, do we judge the doctrine or the (mis)behavior of the people?

In some cases, BOTH. Some religions' doctrine (dogma?) have caused much harm.

Great how that works isn't it. Talk about Wicca and include Satanism as if its somehow a side to Wicca
Then completely ignore WRITTEN doctrine of other Religions which have advocated the complete disregard of the rights other humans at best.
Or at its worst offered detailed instruction on how to properly and most painfully inflict torture usually on women or aboriginal people And these people were not not called Satanists, but Popes, Saints and Priests.Funny how they just always seem to miss that part isn't it?
