Jodi Picoult

I have just bought "The Pact" and "My Sister's Keeper" and plan to buy one of Jodi's books every few months. My own personal collection!!

Now if only I can concentrate on one page long enough I might get past the first chapter.

We read "Plain Truth" in my reading group and I enjoyed it so much I bought "My Sister's Keeper" which was also excellent. She looks at some very difficult topics in her books.

I haven't dared tread too closely to "The Pact". It would be too triggering for me.

littleone, thank you for replying.

I am reading "The Pact" at the moment. I am torn between not being able to put it down and not wanting to read it.

I guess that is just what the author wanted!

I've caved and ordered "The Pact" from Amazon. I need a change of scenery in my books. Thanks for the recommendation!

CS, it is tough going but a 'stunning' read. I am sure you will enjoy. I have a quarter left to read and I can't wait.

Let me know what you think. It would mean so much to me!!

I so appreciate this post!!

I have just finished "The Pact". This book left me quite breathless. I was rivited from start to end, even on the days I could not concentrate long enough to read a page.

Alarming, possibly triggering for some, and quite surreal to me at times, but a really satisfying read.

I cannot wait to increase my Jodi Picoult collection!

What a book! What a riveting story.
I can't ever imagine being that close to someone, can you?
Thanks so much for suggesting it, Sabrina.

I've just recently read two books of Jodi Picoult, "My Sister's Keeper" and "Second Glance". Both books were excellent. I couldn't put them down. Her books do make you think a bit about controversial topics. I'm not sure which one I'll try out next. I was thinking about getting "Vanishing Acts". Has anyone read that one?

Have you finished the book already??
Silly question I know!!

I absolutely can imagine being that close to someone! Perhaps by default, but there it is!

I am thrilled you enjoyed this 'heavy' read.

I have a Dean Koontz book, half way read (3 months ago) and waiting, somewhat patiently for me to finish. But I just can't do it as I am about to purchase my third Jodi book!!

I remain touched that you 'heard' what I said and that you read the book.

Cs - thanks!!
