Has anyone had panic attacks or an increase in anxiety with the supplement d-ribose?
River. Thanks....

blockage if low on B1 may be a possibility..
I needed to take B1.. thiamine hydrochloride by injection (just 30mg per day) was the most effective, else about 100mg thiamine hydrochloride two timws a day had a slight effect, but the coenzymated sublingual form was preefaerble.
and low B1 caused me anxiety

hey thanks for the info tealady.
i've tried ribose before with good results for a few days then it would always seem to turn on me. I drink buttloads of coffee which probably depletes b1, so i'm going to give it a try again with b1, and i'll let you know how it goes.

Hey feedback would be great!
try thiamine hydrochloride ( not a nitrate or sulfite/sulfate variety). Or better still a coenzymated sublingual B1. B1 , like B12 may have poor absorption thru stomach and can be an autoimmune problem, although considered too rare to test!
Hope it works for you.

River,
I have been taking this 5g 3x daily and I was trying to figure out if my anxiety is associated with it too. In fact, I skipped it today for that reason. I may lay off for a couple more days and try adding in the B1, which was on my mind to do anyways.Let me know what you figure out.
Kaye
