I can not find any valid research documentation on Internet.

I wonder if that's what Paxil feels like. It works, as in it does something. A bit like SAMe without the stimulation, maybe.

Are you saying that Seroctin is more anxiolytic than it is antidepressive?

Yes, I think that's it. Going to sleep on the couch in the afternoon (unusual for me). Quite nice. Worth a try. It certainly does something.

I feel a little agitated and airheaded on my first day with seroctin . I am combining it with St john wort 600 mg so I have have to watch out for serotoninergic syndrome.
St john wort is helping my depression but not enough. I still have problems with short-term memory, sleeping, concentration and lack of energy. I can not increase st john wort dose since I get an abnormal sense of smell and feel drowsy/poisoned. I have tried 5-htp which was very effective in the beginning, so I know serotonergic drugs will help my depression. 5-htp turned out to be a major disapointment when side effects kicked in. I became extremley fatigued probably due to melatonin overproduction. So watch out for high doses of 5-htp!

I have some Seroctin. I find it improves my mood for a couple hours if I take 3-4 capsules (which is the recommended dosage. Other times I have taken it and noticed nothing.
