Yesterday I took my first trileptal dose (just 15mg). Does anybody know which suplement can help with the side-effects or in preventing them ?
Any comment is welcome ... and Larry's comment are more than welcome ;-)

I would wait and see what your response to the Trileptal is in the "steady-state".
Cross your fingers and hope my "Amen-informed" intuition and your pdoc's professional judgement are both on the money. :-)

I was thinking about magnesium since it gave me diarrhoea. Good or bad ? : )

Yes. Good idea. :-) Magnesium is a oft-neglected mineral anyway, needed for quite a few functions in the body, and, of course, a big dose has a laxative effect!
Are you sure it is the Trileptal causing the constipation though?

> Are you sure it is the Trileptal causing the constipation though? Not sure but I have a well founded suspicion ... I'm usually not constipated and in this period I'm not taking anything else. I'll try magnesium and see what happens. Thanks !!!

If constipation is the issue, ground flax seed meal would also help quite a lot. Plus, it's good for you.
