Yeah...it's okay for that 'really stressed out' feeling. And for killing nightmares. But, it can really lower your blood pressure (not good). If anxiety and stress aren't a problem, though, I wouldn't bother.
IMHO,

I liked guanfacine. I first tried it to deal with ADHD, in particular the working memory deficit, and it helped slightly, but I ended up using it more to treat my tachycardia.

> LinkadgeClonidine is good for ADHD, PTSD, and anxiety. However, it is *usually* terrible for depression. In fact, it is depressogenic for people who have no depressive disorder at all.

Interesting. In animal models, it can augment antidepressants.

yes, it has some sedative effects, It's good for psychical anxiety, high blood pressure and shaking in hands, etc. It does seems to have dry mouth side effects with me, but that was at higher doses. It brings relief to psychical anxiety mainly, and does have sedative effect to some anxiety.

you'll notice relief in sweating, and shaking and psychical anxiety. It doesn't really have psychological relief like benzo's. its a high blood pressure med that lowers pressure and norepinephrine and epinephrine

but it definitely is not a good med for depression, it lowers norepinephrine, and can be considered a neurotransmitter depressant
