did luvox fail in this country because it was specifically approved only for ocd where s in europe it was very popular for depression since 1983 ...didn't come to the states until 1994 specifically for ocd?

I know there was a lot of news about how one of the columbine high school shooters (1999) was taking Luvox at the time.
I'm not sure if that gave it a bad reputation among US doctors but it comes to my mind when I heard it mentioned.

thats true but it was introduced in this country in 1994 ---columbine was 1999....don't remember it even catching on in those years
