Hi all old and also welcome new members,
Can we make a vote to put this board into a forum like forum.schizophrenia.com Does, I am coming here for over 10+ years and what I've seen is the forum is dead, even www.dr-bob.org isn't live anymore.
Do you people think its a good idea to keep the old forum but ask Dr. Bob to install a new forum script that is easy, modern to use like the one from schizophrenia.com a LOT of people want to share their story. I can do it i can work with php and mysql.
What do you guys think and the doctor himself?

Yes, i think the site already has traffic, by that people in distress looking for answers about meds or want to share their stories, on a forum this site will grow very big. It's not hard to setup a new free forum software that is modern and easy to use for the people

If that were to happen, it would be important to ensure that all old content was imported into the new messageboard, and given the "unique" nature of psychobabble's design, this could prove to be no small task.

albeit not too crowded. It really is a shame... I wish there were a way to get new members to join while keeping the same supportive vibe.

I'm a coder and as much as I'd like breathe blown into this site, I fear TH has a very valid point.

there must be a way to code a rewrite tool for the old contents and put it into the new forum as posts... but of course backup everything first

there is and I've done that type of thing many a time (25+ years in development consulting) however my increasingly treatment-resistant ass precludes my involvement :(

yeah im treatment resistant or misdiagnosed with other lyme or co infections they never told me it could be that, change of subject
only Dr. Bob can decide what will happen with his site :) but i'm just giving him a nice advice for the future of Dr. Bob board.
