I asked the Administration Board if they could do something to generate more traffic here. You know, use Facebook posts, social media, maybe even a cheap ad somewhere online, something to generate some interest and drive more traffic here. I mean, there are so few people here it's difficult to see how the board does anybody much good at this point. Unless they want it to slow down and die on purpose. I hope not. Anyway, we need more traffic and I have asked Administration to get on social media and make it happen.

Yeah, there seems to be a lul at the moment. However, it has been used frequently in the not-too-distant past.

Well its not all about the quantity either. I wasnt here in the "golden times" but i have been here since 2010. There was a lot more going on but it was also good quality of posts.
I dont know what we can do to bring these times back. Luckily Lou does not seem to have figured out that psychobabble is up again.
He made the great recommendation to withdraw meds. I was manic/psychotic at the time so i was receptive to the idea. I was on 300!!! mg Seroquel ONLY before that and i did not have any psychosis. Thanks to this individual i am now on 900mg and 25mg Zyprexa.
This is the only place where i can be completely honest on the internet. I do not have to fear that people fall into my back.

I am waiting for new antipsychotics to come out. Lumateperone and AF35700. Lumateperone shouldnt be too much longer. AF35700 will take a while. But it sounds pretty damn awesome even for treatment resistant Schizophrenia.

even though there's not a lot of posts as previous, i have to say....this board is all over the internet, there are tons of readers, someone wrote here that there was facebook page or group that was about babble, our posts and almost a cult of people reading
i learned that a couple years ago, before I thought it was secured page, then I found out all this info is directly linked to Google, as medical pages are, what write is linked to keywords for a googler

I don't think it helps traffic at all to have nearly every post receive a response telling people that they have, not mental illness, but undiagnosed chronic Lyme disease. It doesn't exactly stimulate discussion. Not so very unlike Lou's predictable posts.

Let's understand what was just said here. It is ok to impugn another patient/poster if they their experiences and knowledge are different than your own. That's what was said. Lyme disease has no relation to mental illness - this statement is made with zero evidence and zero experience. Shutting down conversation is a good thing if you disagree with it. Bully the person who said it. Make them feel bad for believing what they believe. The author of the post, if I understand correctly, has said these things.
I disagree with all of that. Sharing of information, ideas, experiences, doctor visits, trials and errors is all necessary and positive for providing options for patients to improve the quality of their lives and end suffering.
So I not only disagree with the author, I strongly disagree.

But over and over again till the whole world has lymes? Most take doxycyclline for l0 days and that's it. Being from CT where it was first diagnosed that is the treatment and many I know from my hometown including relatives children had it and are fine now. So please stop. thanks
