Received Lithium ER 300 mg from the pharmacy a week or two ago. Rising Pharma is the manufacturer. Previous manf was Glenmark. Any experiences in terms of feeling any difference between the two brands? I feel like I'm slipping, though it might not necessarily be the medication. Thanks.

Sorry, I can't compare those two lithium brands. I have switched generics in the past. Initially, I thought I noticed something. However, however I don't think there was any real difference.

It very well could be causing you to feel differently (especially w/ extended release). Could you call around and find a pharmacy w/ Glenmark brand? Even if it's too soon to get a refil via insurance Lithium is pretty cheap. With the GoodRX free coupon like $13. Might as well just switch back and get peace of mind about it.

Dr. had suggested doubling the dose, but I have 450 mg lithium er tabs by Glenmark and have been taking them for 3 days so far. Let's hope I feel stable and calm again. Thanks.
