If she has weight gain, high cholesterol, high triglycerides, or a combination thereof, sure. Its worth a shot.

Also, since Jade doesnt take the 10mg Zyprexa for Psychosis (which i thought), she may be able to take Nardil with 10mg Zyprexa. She takes Zyprexa anyway and not because she is psychotic otherwise, so i dont know why she shouldnt try Nardil if she is careful.

With Metformin and Zyprexa i would recommend regular blood tests though. Sugar and kidney function tests.

Its your choice, Jade.

When do you start the CBD? Have you seen your doc yet about it?

I see a doctor that is specialized for cannabinoid medicines on April the 3rd. My psychiatrist is fine with me trying CBD.

They are two persons.

I'm gonna ask my pdoc about this if I end up staying on Zyprexa. I'm wondering why more people don't use it. How effective is it? Drawbacks?

Once every three months i need to hit the bathroom really quickly (Nr. 2).
There can be some diarrhea but doesnt need to be. For me it passed. It depends on the dosage.

When you are taking meds you should do regular blood tests (every 3 months). Kidney function should be monitored.

Gernerally speaking Metformin is very well tolerated. It can even extend life.

It is pretty effective but then again not for all people.

You wont know unless you try.

Know that Zyprexa can get you diabetic and along with Clozapine is the AP most likely to do so.

Yep. I'm gonna look into it and maybe give it a go. I have collected so many med ideas at this point I think I need to stop, wade through and pick the most promising, and run them by my pdoc. Nardil is still high on my list. I'm so f-ing sick of this depression.

i am not a fan of this "online scientist" thing. Nobody knows why these medications actually work.

SSRI are not diagnostic tools!

I'm afraid I'm misunderstanding this post. Can you explain what you mean please? I don't want to respond until I understand.

Thanks,

Jade

well i think that you might be Serotonin deficient and still SSRIs make you worse.

Its not that easy, black and white.

It just means that the mechanism doesnt work for you.

one SSRI makes me suicidal(Brintellix), Venlafaxine the opposite. Sertraline was VERY antidepressant at an extremely low dosage.

Why is this the case? They are all doing the same thing right? I dont think that that is the case. Maybe they are doing the same thing, but in a different way. As opening up brains and analysing them is "difficult" we more or less guess why we think the medications are working.

All i am saying is the conclusion "i have too much Serotonin" sounds too easy to me. The brain is not easy to understand.

it is a possibility that its too much serotonin but its also possible that it is something else.

Good points. I will consider these. Ultimately it will be up to my pdoc.

No worries I will not self medicate :)

When you have a pdoc that says yes to everything you really need to be careful.

Landed me in the hospital once big time.

My problem was a pdoc who said NO. No I can't get off the abilify, when I told him it was not working. Cost me my job.

I think its good to have a pdoc who works with you.
