Hi and Happy New Year to all!
I have noticed that if i take pregabaline (lyrica) before going to bed, i feel much less depressed the next morning(sometimes the hole day). Usually i feel extremely depressed every day, but with pregabaline before sleep i feel like depression fades for a brief time and i can function. It works like this for few days and then pause is needed for it work again, otherwise it's like clockwork.
It got me thinking that sleep quality may be the key factor in depressed mood. Does anybody have knowledge on how(what mechanism) pregabaline effects sleep?
SSRI's, it's counterparts and other conventional AD's does not work for me unfortunately :(
This is the end of the thread.
