Word recall getting worse on Emsam.

Is this a common side effect of MAOI's? I find myself pausing in the middle of sentences when talking to someone. Thoughts and words just don't flow. Maybe a symptom of depression? Short days and cold temperatures really cause suffering for me. I'm really worried. Pdoc has no comment when I told him.

I just love docs said with a lot of sarcasm. But in all sincerity I've not heard of this before

Maybe my T levels? It seems really hard to get tested. I'm just a nuisance.

Sometimes, weird things happen early in drug treatment that mitigate or disappear over time. What you are describing might disappear quickly. I had that happen with Nardil.

I wonder if the word recall problem is due to lack of sleep? I was on Nardil for over 10 years and I recall 5hrs a night was the average. I was a functional narcoleptic.

They beat the hell out of nurses - perhaps more than nurses beat the hell out of themselves. They work too hard. Did you ever notice how many nurses are overweight - especially around the middle? It's not because they eat too much or exercise too little. I think they are constantly flooded with cortisol as a reaction to unrelenting stress. They are devoted to their work in ways that many people don't fully appreciate.

Scott how well I know that's what made me sick being an RN. I loved my job. I gave to much of myself to it. Hence it took from me. Phillipa

They try to get 1 nurse to do the work of 4. This is the trend for all workforces since Ronald Reagan took office in 1980.
